B Titania Ceramic

Photocatalytic treatment, antibacterial and self-cleaning

B Titania Ceramica is an aqueous suspension of photocatalytic titania microparticles functionalized with organic derivatives of silicon formulated for the photocatalytic, antibacterial, self-cleaning treatment of ceramic materials.

It is formulated as a protective ready-to-use product; however, you can dilute it in distilled water in the desired ration.

The highly oxidizing effect of titanium on surfaces exposed to sunlight gives a high-antibacterial effect. The oxidizing force acts against air pollutants thus allowing to reduce air pollution.

The hyper-hydrophilic effect of this product can also be exploited for cooling surfaces by wetting them with a laminar flow of water.

A titanium dioxide-based system that is self-cleaning and antibacterial
When exposed to sunlight, ceramic materials become hyper-hydrophilic, which enriches ceramic surfaces with a “self washing” feature.
